The customer needed a software solution that could handle as many system copies as possible in a given period of time. This should involve working from the productionsystem on-premise into the Azure Cloud. Furthermore, it was particularly important to the customer that testing could be carried out in between.
So in addition to the time factor, the system landscape was also a critical point. What was the solution?
Libelle SystemCopy made it possible within a large system landscape, which is centralized and operated as well as controlled in-house, to fill an empty system in the SAP S/4HANA® Cloud using system copies.
Challenge accepted – What is the success in numbers?
The requirements of the international retail group were met without any problems, especially within the required timeframe, with the help of Libelle SystemCopy. Libelle SystemCopy automatically provides non-productive systems such as a test system with test data at any certain time.
For example, a system copy of a 7 TB SAP HANA® system on-premise was completed within 8 hours. In the cloud, this system copy could be reduced to 4 hours with the help of Azure NetApp files.
