Scope and purposes of the processing of personal data

In order to carry out the application procedure, the following categories of personal data are collected and processed by us:

  • Salutation
  • First name
  • Last name
  • Street and house number
  • Postcode and city
  • E-mail address
  • Telephone / mobile number
  • Date of birth
  • Career
  • Qualification certificates
  • Other personal information provided to us

Failure to provide the required data would mean that we would not be able to carry out the application process with you.

Your personal data will be processed in compliance with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and all other relevant laws. The processing of your personal data serves to carry out the application procedure.

The collection and processing of your personal application data is exclusively for the purpose of filling vacancies within our company.

Legal bases of data processing

The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is Article 88 GDPR in conjunction with Section 26 (1) BDSG, Article 6 (1) p. 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Data transmission to third parties

Your data will only be forwarded to the internal departments and specialist departments of our company responsible for the specific application procedure. Your application data will not be passed on to third parties or used for any other purpose.

Within our company, only those persons and departments will have access to your personal data that need it to process the application procedure.

Your rights

In the following, we inform you about your rights regarding the personal data concerning you. You have the right to information free of charge according to Art. 15 GDPR,

  • the right to rectification in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR,
  • the right to erasure in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR,
  • the right to restrict processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR,
  • the right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR,
  • the right to object according to Art. 21 GDPR,
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible for us in accordance with Art. 77 GDPR (The State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, Postfach 10 29 32, 70025 Stuttgart),
  • the right to revoke consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.

Storage and deletion periods

As a rule, your personal application data will be deleted eight months after completion of the application process. This does not apply if legal provisions prevent deletion and further storage is absolutely necessary for the purpose of providing evidence.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

If we process your personal data on the basis of our overriding legitimate interest in the context of a balancing of interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing with effect for the future free of charge at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation.

We do not plan to use your personal data for direct marketing purposes. Nevertheless, we must inform you that you have the right to object to advertising at any time; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is connected with such direct advertising. We will observe this objection for the future.

The objection can be made informally to the responsible person named in point 1.
